I was ill today, so I spent the day watching disney channel, market kitchen, ANTM (America's Next Top Model) re-runs, and MTV. I actually ended up getting really annoyed at MTV, because all the music was just mindless mainstream stuff, and they just kept on repeating about ten songs over and over again! So, I decided to google previous ANTM contestants to pass my time. I was so bored, I ended up making "collages" of them.
Lauren Brie Harding: I didn't actually like her during her cycle and I thought she was really ugly, but I don't think that anymore!Katarzyna Dolinska: Her cycle was so pointless. Whitney was such a token jesture winner.....Erin Wagner: I hated her attitude, but I think she was so pretty and her photos were stunningCycle 11: I thought they had some really gorgeous girls in this series, but I didn't actually like any of them because they were all really annoying and mean! Allison Harvard: All I can say is that she should have won... (the piece of art in the top right is not random by the way, she made it) Nicole Fox: In my opinion she is one of the prettiest girls that has ever been on the show. So what if she's weird and can't walk that well, all of her photos were GORGEOUS!
My new favourite film = AN EDUCATION. I saw it yesterday and I loved it. Do you know what I mean when I say it actually had me caring about what happens? Because there are those films which you just watch for the sake of watching, and then there are those films which have you crying and laughing and feeling all different emotions. I really liked the whole oldness of it, and I loved the way that 1960s Paris was portrayed. The story by itself wasn't actually that amazing, but when you put everything together like costume and soundtrack it setting it's just really really good. Probably the main reason I did like it so much was the fact that the clothes are so pretty. Every single outfit that Carey Mulligan was wearing I wanted, even though they likelihood of them suiting me would have been slim. But I don't care, I'd just hang them in my wardrobe and stroke them on occasions. Here are some, but to be honest these aren't my favourites, they're just the only ones I can find.....
Don't judge me, but on tuesday I had the day off school, as I had a competition thing in the morning and they said don't come back so you know, so my mum and I went to Battersea Park for the afternoon. So whilst enjoying the lovely warm weather I decided to take some stalker photos of people. It was really awkward because I had my mum on lookout whilst I hid behind trees and rocks to get half decent photos. Here are the results:
I know it's a little late, but I feel that I should share the events of my friday afternoon. Basically, there was this half exhibition thing at Liberty and it finished on sunday so my mum asked whether I wanted to go after school. I think you can guess what my reply was, so at about 4 o'clock I was standing with my mother in the busy streets of London looking ahead at the beautiful sight I like to call L. I. B. E. R. T. Y. We probably spent about an hour and a half just browsing. I swear, I could have bought nearly everything I saw. The shoes were like :O, and the clothes were like :D, and even the furniture was like OMG! Then we went back over to Topshop and H&M. Even though I'd set out with the intention of ONLY looking, I ended up buying a pair of tights and some cycling shorts from Topshop, and some dungarees from H&M. I was so happy when I saw the dungarees, I nearly ran across the shop to them. I've wanted some for ages, and now I have them. YAY! Also, at the exhibition, there were some amazing photos. I can't really be bothered to have any pictures, so click on the links if you want to see them. Trust me, you will not regret it!Josh Olins

Whole Exhibition
I have recently discovered my time management needs some extreme improvement. During the holidays, I did nothing except for go to the Irving Penn exhibition at the NPG (which was amzing by the way but that story is for another time as I have too many amazing things I want to say about it as it was just so amazing and interesting and WOW!), but other than that I did nothing except eat and sleep and sew and watch films and read. It has now been a week since I went back to school, and I've already had about five incidences where I have lost track of time. Like today for example, I have a massive pile of homework which has slowly piled up over the week and I have about three unfinished dresses I need to make and a pile of fabric which I need to use, yet all I've done this evening is browse through my photos on my computer. Can someone please explain the logic of this, because right now, I can't really see it. But, something did come out of my unproductiveness, I found some pretty cool photos from last summer which I'd like to share. One of them is of a nun, on a bicylcle!
